Riffa Views residents celebrate the success of ‘Bahrain 11′

To commemorate the successful organization and culmination of the First GCC Games, “Bahrain 11”, held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Riffa Views hosted a Mini-Olympics for the residents of the community. The event featured different sporting disciplines and aimed at promoting and encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle for the kids.
The event’s highlight was the attendance of the official Bahrain 11 mascot “Ghaleb”, which embody the unifying spirit that binds GCC nations together and the collaborative effort behind the GCC Games.
سكان الرفاع فيوز يحتفلون بنجاح “البحرين 11″
أحياءا للتنظيم الناجح وتتويجا للألعاب دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي الأولى ، “البحرين 11″، الذي عقد في مملكة البحرين ، أقامت الرفاع فيوز اولمبياد مصغرة للمقيمين في المشروع. و قد شمل هذا الحدث مختلف الألعاب الرياضية، و التي تهدف إلى تعزيز وتشجيع أسلوب حياة نشطة وصحية للأطفال.
و تم تسليط الضوء على هذه الفعالية في حضور غالب وهو تميمة الحدث الذي يجسد روح الوحدة التي تربط دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي معا من خلال الجهد المشترك في نجاح جميع للألعاب الرياضية في مجلس التعاون الخليجي.
Riffa Views to host legacy Bahrain Road Runners’ races

Riffa Views, jointly with the Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) organized a 5 km Race in the residential community marking the start of the running season. The race saw the attendance of over 60 runners including residents of Riffa Views and members of the BRR.
The 5 km Race marked Riffa Views’ Gold Sponsorship of the BRR 2011-2012 running season, as part of which the legacy 5, 10 & 15 km races organized each November in the lead up to the Cross Island, will be held at Riffa Views. The “Riffa Views Grand Prix Series” to be held on the 11th, 18th and 25th of November expect to attract a large amount of participants including residents of Riffa Views, members of BRR and the public.
Karla Solano, Head of Marketing & PR at Riffa Views, commented on the sponsorship: “Riffa Views promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and as such it was a natural decision to join forces with the BRR, a well established running club with over 400 members. Riffa Views offers a unique and beautiful outdoor setting and our aim is to ensure that the residents benefit from it as much as possible. In the lead up to the Riffa Views Grand Prix Races, the Royal Country Club has organized a running club along with tailored fitness programmes. We trust the events will be very encouraging and exciting for all participants.”
Tariq Algosaibi, BRR Vice-Chairman, commented: “We are very excited about partnering with Riffa Views through this sponsorship, especially since we share very similar values when it comes to promoting health and fitness. BRR’s Grand Prix Series has always been a very popular and anticipated event among our runners and I believe the races will benefit from the new venue this year. Hopefully, this will be just the start of an ongoing relationship with Riffa Views.”
BRR is one of the oldest running clubs in the Middle East with roots dating back to 1972. BRR annually organizes sport events such as marathons, half marathons, triathlons, decathlons, biathlons, as well as other running events which are open to the public.
الرفاع ڤيوز تستضيف السباق الدوري للجنة عدائي البحرين
البحرين ، 12 سبتمبر 2011.- قامت الرفاع ڨيوز بالاشتراك مع لجنة عدائي البحرين بتنظيم سباق 5 كلم في المشروع بمناسبة بداية الموسم الحالي. و شهد السباق حضور أكثر من 60 عداء بما في ذلك بعض من سكان الرفاع ڨيوز وأعضاء اللجنة.
و كان سباق ال 5 كم جزء من رعاية الرفاع ڨيوز الذهبية لموسم 2011-2012 للجنة العدائين و الذي يحوي سباقات ال 5 كيلومترات و 10 و 15 كل نوفمبر و ذلك لاجتياز البحرين بالكامل ، حيث سيبدأ المشوار في الرفاع ڨيوز . و ستعقد سلسلة سباقات جائزة الرفاع ڨيوز الكبرى في الحادي عشر، الثامن عشر و الخامس و العشرين من شهر نوفمبر لجذب عدد كبير من المشاركين بمن فيهم سكان الرفاع ڨيوز ، وأعضاء اللجنة والعامة.
وعلقت كارلا سولانو ، رئيسة قسم التسويق والعلاقات العامة في الرفاع ڨيوز على هذه الرعاية : ” تروج الرفاع ڨيوز لنمط حياة صحي ونشيط و بهذا كان من الطبيعي الانضمام جنبا إلى جنب مع لجنة عدائي البحرين و التي تحوي أكثر من 400 عضو و عضوه. و الرفاع ڨيوز توفر أجواء جميلة و فريدة من نوعها في الهواء الطلق والهدف هو ضمان أن يستفيد منها السكان قدر الإمكان. في نفس الوقت و في الفترة المؤدية إلى الجائزة الكبرى لسباقات الرفاع ڨيوز ، ينظم النادي الملكي الريفي البرامج المصممة للياقة البدنية أيضا. ونحن على ثقة بان تكون هذه الفعاليات مشجعة للغاية ومثيرة لجميع المشاركين “.

و تعد لجنة عدائي البحرين واحدة من أقدم الأندية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط مع جذور تعود إلى عام 1972. حيث تنظم سنويا العديد من الفعاليات الرياضية مثل سباقات الماراثون ، سباقات التراياثون، و الديكالثون ، و البايالثون، فضلا عن غيرها من الفعاليات الرياضية و التي ستكون مفتوحة للجمهور.
Inaugural Riffa Views Health Day Set

The management of the Royal Golf Club is delighted to announce that the first “Riffa Views Health Day” will take place at the Club on Saturday 2nd July in association with the newly opened Royal Bahrain Hospital.
Guests will be invited to listen to presentations from four medical specialists and will be able to take advantage of free health checks on their height, weight, blood pressure and blood sugar level. The event is open to all members of the Riffa Views community, whether they are residents, golf or country club members or parents from the Riffa Views International School.
Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Raee, Managing Director of Riffa Views commented “Riffa Views promotes an active lifestyle with the availability of outdoor recreational spaces, a tennis facility, the Royal Golf Club and a state-of-the-art Country Club. Furthering our promotion of a healthy lifestyle, we are very pleased to be able to give our valued residents this opportunity to keep a check on their health.”

يسر إدارة النادي الملكي للغولف أن يعلن عن “اليوم الصحي الأول للرفاع ڤيوز” و الذي سيعقد في مبنى النادي يوم السبت الموافق 2 يوليو وذلك بالتعاون مع مستشفى البحرين الملكي الذي افتتح حديثا.
ويدعى الضيوف للاستماع بعروض مختلفة من أربعة أخصائيين طبيين وسيتمكن المدعوين من الاستفادة من الفحوصات الطبية المجانية مثل الطول والوزن وضغط الدم ومستوى السكر في الدم. هذا الحدث مفتوح لجميع أعضاء المجتمع الرفاع ڤيوز ، سواء كانوا من المقيمين ، أو أعضاء نادي الجولف أو أعضاء النادي الريفي أو أقارب طلاب مدرسة الرفاع ڤيوز الدولية.
