RIFFA VIEWS READY TO PLAY THE ‘ARSENAL WAY’

Marking the official opening of an Arsenal Soccer School in Riffa Views, Arsenal Bahrain organized a football showcase for the students of Riffa Views International School (RVIS). From April 1st, the Arsenal Soccer School will be offering a wide range of indoor and outdoor football training programmes for boys and girls of all ages and abilities. The Soccer School will also offer adult male and female fitness classes and mother and toddler sessions.
Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Raee, Managing Director of Riffa Views, commented, ‘We are extremely pleased that Arsenal Bahrain will open their second sports venue in Riffa Views. The addition of the soccer school further promotes the healthy lifestyle we aim to encourage, benefiting not only the school children and those living in Riffa Views, but the neighbouring communities as well. The soccer school also adds value to Bahrain’s sporting community and we look forward to watching some exciting football games in the future!’
Commenting on today’s football showcase, RVIS PE teacher, Hillery Smith, said, ‘As part of the sports programme at RVIS, we aim to nurture our students’ sporting skills, helping them develop into well rounded young people. Arsenal’s football showcase is part of a series of sporting experiences that the children have enjoyed along the school term including tennis, golf, and many any other disciplines.’

الرفاع ڤيوز على استعداد للعب على “طريقة آرسنال”
بمناسبة الافتتاح الرسمي لمدرسة آرسنال لكرة القدم في الرفاع ڤيوز، تنظم آرسنال البحرين معرضا لكرة القدم لطلاب مدرسة الرفاع الدولية. ابتداءََ من 1 أبريل، ستقوم مدرسة آرسنال لكرة القدم بتقديم مجموعة واسعة من البرامج التدريبية الداخلية و الخارجية للفتيان والفتيات من جميع الأعمار والقدرات. و سوف نقدم أيضا المدرسة فصول لياقة للكبار من الذكور والإناث، و كذلك يتم تحضير جلسات رياضية للأمهات و أطفالهن.

Riffa Views Duathon Set to Take Place

Further expanding its collaboration with the Bahrain Road Runners (BRR), Riffa Views is pleased to announce the sponsorship of the ‘Riffa Views Duathlon’ which will be held on March 16th at Riffa Views.
Following the Grand Prix Races (5 km, 10 km, 15 km) which were organized by the BRR and hosted in Riffa Views in November last year, the Riffa Views Duathlon requires participants to complete a total of 28 km which will be divided into 3 separate legs – a 3 km run, followed by a 20 km cycle and a 5 km run to finish. Participants are welcome to compete individually or in teams of 2 or 3 members.
Karla Solano, Head of Marketing and PR, said: ‘We are pleased that Riffa Views is becoming the venue of choice for sporting events. The upcoming Duathlon and previous sporting events, together with the golf tournaments held at the Royal Golf Club, the fitness programmes offered at the Country Club and the tennis coaching offered by JC Tennis Academy, compliment the lifestyle experience not only of our residents but for the wider community.
Tariq Algosaibi, Member of the BRR Organizing Committee, said, ‘The Riffa Views Duathlon is one of our major events in the sporting calendar and provides participants with a strong base to prepare for the Olympic Triathlon which will be held at the end of the month. We are pleased to be able to host the race in Riffa Views which offers the perfect setting.”

Bahrain Road Runners Organize Successful Race at Riffa Views

The Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) successfully organized a 5km race as part of the 3-race series to be held this month under the ‘Riffa Views Grand Prix Series’. The race was hosted at Riffa Views, Bahrain’s premium golf residential development, and saw the attendance of 115 participants in the range of 13 to over 65 years of age.
Race winner Abellatif Aithsine ran across the finish line with a time of 15 minutes 20 seconds, just milliseconds ahead of his compatriot Youssif Nasser. There was an intense fight for the 3rd place between Eddhabi Nassir and Maali Taawer, with Maali inching a second ahead of Nassir in the last 100 meters with a finish time of 16 minutes 4 seconds. The remaining participants came on strong with fast times recorded by all.
The 5km race is the first of 3 races organized by the BRR, under the sponsorship of Riffa Views. Next Friday, 18th of November, the 10km race will start at 7:30am, with the 15 km race to be held on Friday 25th of November at 7:00am.
Registration for the 10km and 15km races is now open at the BRR’s website (www.bahrainroadrunners.com) and will close on the Wednesdays previous to each race at 6.00 pm. Registrations will not be allowed on the day of the race.
