Riffa Views Homeowners – “Settling In”

The promise is delivered with homeowners receiving their houses and living in them within Riffa Views. There are over 50 villas handed over to resident home-owners up to September 2009.

This video explores the beginnings of the Riffa Views community, its features, and most importantly its pioneering residents. We talk with a few of these champions of Riffa Views to get their reactions as they are settling down into their new life within Riffa Views Signature Estates.

The Riffa Views Shaikh Faisal Bin Hamad Al Khalifa Memorial Trophy’s awards ceremony was held today at His Majesty King Hamad’s golf course in Safriya.

The charity golf tournament was a resounding success, raising BD 30,000 in sponsorship alone, with Riffa Views as the title sponsor and the Royal Golf Club as the organizer. The proceeds will go towards the purchase of a wheelchair bus, wheelchairs and other aids, and to complete a specialised swimming pool for the disabled.

Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Views commented: “Riffa Views’ commitment to this charitable cause is in line with our objective to encourage the youth of Bahrain in sports, education and social development. The funds raised will not only allow the members of BMI to have mobility with specialised equipment, but will also provide them with a great opportunity to improve their life.”

The charity golf tournament, which took place over two days, was played in a Team Better Ball Stableford format, with each team of four split into 2 pairings, each pairing’s Better Ball Stableford total were added together to give a team aggregate score. In each pair, both players played the hole with their own ball, whoever had the best Stableford points on that hole had the score which counted towards the pairing’s Better Ball score.

The tournament was won by team Aer Rianta comprised of Maurice Burke, Jenny Burke, Yousif Majid, and John Mower with a team score of 92 points.

Runners up were ICAP 3 team with 89 points, comprising Justne Woodmansee, Bill Harrington, Serge El Adm, and Darren Martyn.

Third place went to team Riffa Views 1, comprising Khalid Jassim, Ahmed Sultan, Riyadh Al Saie and Zayed Al Zayani, with 88 points.

Friday Afternoon – Jim Carless
Saturday Morning – Phil Durnford
Saturday Afternoon – Murray Brown

عقد الحفل الختامي لكأس الرفاع ڤيوز التذكاري للمرحوم الشيخ فيصل بن حمد آل خليفة اليوم في ملعب صاحب الجلالة الملك حمد للغولف في قصره بالصافرية.
 

و نجحت بطولة الجولف الخيرية نجاحا باهرا ، و تم الحصول على 30,000 دينار بحريني من قبل الرعاة وحدهم ، بالإضافة إلى الرفاع ڤيوز بوصفها راعي اللقب و إدارة نادي الجولف الملكي. و ستخصص العائدات لشراء حافلة بكراسي متحركة، والكراسي المتحركة وغيرها من المعدات، و سيخصص جزء منها لاستكمال حمام السباحة المتخصص للمعوقين.

علق ريتشارد براوننج ، الرئيس التنفيذي للرفاع ڤيوز قائلاََ: “إن التزام الرفاع ڤيوز هو لأسباب خيرية تماشيا مع هدفنا لتشجيع الشباب والرياضة في البحرين ، والتعليم ، والتنمية الاجتماعية.و لن تسمح هذه المبالغ للشراء المعدات المتخصصة للأعضاء و حسب ، ولكن ستوفر لهم فرصة كبيرة لتحسين نوعية حياتهم “.
 
بطولة الجولف الخيرية و التي جرت على مدى يومين ، لعبت بأحسن ضربة بطريقة الستيبلفورد ، حيث يتم فصل كل فريق مكون من أربعة أعضاء إلى قسمين حيث يتم إضافة أعلى نقطة لكل قسم إلى الناتج الكلي للفريق. و بالتالي فان كل ثنائي يسدد في الحفرة بكرته الخاصة و بعد ذلك تأخذ أفضل الضربات في الحساب, و هذا ما يسمى أفضل ضربة للستيبلفورد.
 

و حصل الفريق الفائز على 92 نقطه حيث ضم Maurice Burke, Jenny Burke, Yousif Majid, John Michael Mower من فريق Aer Rianta

 كان  الفائز في المركز الثاني هم  ICAP 3 بمعدل نقاط 89 حيث ضم Jusinte Woodmansee, Bill Harington, Serge El Adm, Darren Martyn . و كان المركز الثالث من نصيب Riffa Views 1 الذي ضم  Khalid Jassim, Riyadh Al-Saie, Zayed Al-Zayani, Ahmed Sultan. الذي حصل على معدل 88

أما الفائزين لأقرب كرة للعلم لليومين المنصرمين هم:
