Retail Complex at Riffa Views in Full Swing

Riffa Views, Bahrain’s premium golf residential development, is delighted to announce that the groundbreaking for the development’s retail center, Riffa Palms, was held today 15 February by the management of Riffa Views and Riffa Views International School Students.

The groundbreaking of Riffa Palms – which is being developed by private investment – marks another step in Riffa Views’ drive to create a unique lifestyle for its residents. The 1,500 sq m retail complex will be located at the entrance of the Oasis Estate and will house 13 outlets including food and beverage outlets, a gourmet supermarket, a bank, pharmacy and launderette amongst others. Surrounding Riffa Palms will be 900 sq m of beautifully landscaped public space complete with outdoor seating, large grassed areas suitable for small scale events and a car park able to accommodate over 60 cars.

Speaking on the groundbreaking, Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Raee, Managing Director of Riffa Views said: “The addition of Riffa Palms not only demonstrates our continued efforts to deliver on our promise to provide a complete lifestyle for our residents, but it also adds value to the overall community and creates a social hub where residents can get together with friends and family. Together with the Royal Golf Club, the existing food and beverage outlets, the Country Club, tennis courts and Riffa Views International School, Riffa Palms provides residents with the desirable and necessary facilities and amenities that they may require on a daily basis.”

A family orientated modern-style retail center, the complex will serve the local community and visitors to the development. Designed by local architects Masthan Architects and Civil Engineers, the outer shell of the building is expected to be completed by the end of August with interior work beginning shortly thereafter.

Bahrain Road Runners Organize Successful Race at Riffa Views

The Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) successfully organized a 5km race as part of the 3-race series to be held this month under the ‘Riffa Views Grand Prix Series’. The race was hosted at Riffa Views, Bahrain’s premium golf residential development, and saw the attendance of 115 participants in the range of 13 to over 65 years of age.

Race winner Abellatif Aithsine ran across the finish line with a time of 15 minutes 20 seconds, just milliseconds ahead of his compatriot Youssif Nasser. There was an intense fight for the 3rd place between Eddhabi Nassir and Maali Taawer, with Maali inching a second ahead of Nassir in the last 100 meters with a finish time of 16 minutes 4 seconds. The remaining participants came on strong with fast times recorded by all.

The 5km race is the first of 3 races organized by the BRR, under the sponsorship of Riffa Views. Next Friday, 18th of November, the 10km race will start at 7:30am, with the 15 km race to be held on Friday 25th of November at 7:00am. 

Registration for the 10km and 15km races is now open at the BRR’s website (www.bahrainroadrunners.com) and will close on the Wednesdays previous to each race at 6.00 pm. Registrations will not be allowed on the day of the race.

Riffa Views Celebrates the Kingdom of Bahrain

Riffa Views hosted a staff gathering to celebrate the Kingdom of Bahrain and to express loyalty and support to the country’s leaders H.R.H King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa; the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander H.R.H Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Riffa Views’ Managing Director, Yasser Abdulrahman Al-Raee, along with representatives of the development’s main contractor, TERNA, and the Engineer, MSCEB, attended the special celebration. To commemorate the occasion the Riffa Views’ office was decorated with flags and a cake displaying Bahrain’s flag was presented.
