Riffa Views walks for Think Pink

Residents of Riffa Views stepped out for breast cancer awareness at a walkathon held in support of Think Pink Bahrain. The activity raised BD 450 with Riffa Views matching the donations from homeowners. The cheque was presented to Anita Ghavami, representative of Think Pink, in support to their aims to purchase a digital MRI machine to assist the Salmaniya Medical Complex in their fight against breast cancer.

Riffa Views to host legacy Bahrain Road Runners’ races

Riffa Views, jointly with the Bahrain Road Runners (BRR) organized a 5 km Race in the residential community marking the start of the running season. The race saw the attendance of over 60 runners including residents of Riffa Views and members of the BRR.

The 5 km Race marked Riffa Views’ Gold Sponsorship of the BRR 2011-2012 running season, as part of which the legacy 5, 10 & 15 km races organized each November in the lead up to the Cross Island, will be held at Riffa Views. The “Riffa Views Grand Prix Series” to be held on the 11th, 18th and 25th of November expect to attract a large amount of participants including residents of Riffa Views, members of BRR and the public.

Karla Solano, Head of Marketing & PR at Riffa Views, commented on the sponsorship: “Riffa Views promotes a healthy and active lifestyle and as such it was a natural decision to join forces with the BRR, a well established running club with over 400 members. Riffa Views offers a unique and beautiful outdoor setting and our aim is to ensure that the residents benefit from it as much as possible. In the lead up to the Riffa Views Grand Prix Races, the Royal Country Club has organized a running club along with tailored fitness programmes. We trust the events will be very encouraging and exciting for all participants.”

BRR is one of the oldest running clubs in the Middle East with roots dating back to 1972. BRR annually organizes sport events such as marathons, half marathons, triathlons, decathlons, biathlons, as well as other running events which are open to the public.

70 percent of Sold Villas Handed Over at Riffa Views

Riffa Views continues to demonstrate its commitment to the delivery of homes to their owners with the handover of its 500th villa to Mr. Riyadh Al Saie.

The golf residential development which consists of 1056 high-quality villas is built over 280 hectors of land and surrounds Bahrain’s internationally renowned, Colin Montgomerie designed Royal Golf Course. The first and only golf residential community in Bahrain, Riffa Views has become a sought after development with an increasing number of families moving into the community in recent months.

Mr. Al Saie, who received the keys to his 5 bedroom Signature villa said, “I am pleased that despite the challenges faced by the global real estate industry since the economic downturn, Riffa Views has successfully achieved this major handover milestone.

My house, which is located beside the Oasis Garden, has been beautifully finished and is surrounded by exquisite landscaping. The master bedroom has an impressive view directly over the golf course, which as a keen golfer is very appealing. Commenting on the latest milestone and the project’s ongoing progress, Yasser Abdulrahman Al Raee, Riffa Views’ Managing Director said, “We have now handed over 70 percent of all sold villas to their owners. This achievement is further confirmation that we remain committed to the completion and delivery of villas to homeowners, and having now received the first group of the remaining Lagoons villas from the contractor we will soon be handing over additional homes.

As well as focusing significant effort on the delivery of homes, Riffa Views also remains dedicated to the completion of the Development’s lifestyle elements. In recent months a number of the community’s facilities have been completed and are now available for use by residents, their family and friends. This includes the Oasis Garden and the Royal Country Club. Work on the community’s second garden which is located in Park Estate is also underway and is due to be completed by the second half of the year.”

The Royal Country Club, which was officially opened in May, offers members of the community a variety of facilities including a leisure swimming pool, an outdoor playground and separate ladies and gent’s gyms. The Club also houses an outdoor multi purpose court which can be used for an assortment of sports including tennis, basketball and football.

There has also been an addition to the dinning facilities available within Riffa Views with the introduction of Prego, an Italian pizzeria whose menu offers such an array of choice that there is something for adults and children alike. Prego is open to both residents and the general public.
