Riffa Views to Unveil Unique Living Concept at the Volvo Golf Champions Tournament

Riffa Views, Bahrain’s premium golf residential development, will unveil their new living concept with the launch of its limited edition Harmony Villas at the Volvo Golf Champions Tournament which takes place at the Royal Golf Club later this month.

The Harmony Villas comprise two individually themed luxury villas, the Harmony of Spring located in Lagoons Estate and the Harmony of Nature in Oasis Estate. These five bedroom premier homes are complete with soft furnishings, home appliances and beautifully designed landscaping. The interior of each villa has been specifically designed to provide a harmonic and welcoming setting befitting of its name.

Commenting on this initiative, Riffa Views Managing Director, Yasser Abdulrahman Al Raee, said, “The Harmony Villas project is unique in its offering and the first of its kind in Bahrain. We are proud to spearhead a new resident-ready approach to home buying here in the kingdom. Further details on Riffa Views and the Harmony Villas will be available during the four day tournament at the Riffa Views’ suite located in the Spectators Village at the Royal Golf Club. At the suite, visitors will also be able to register for a tour of the development and book private viewings of the Harmony Villas.

In view of the large number of visitors that are expected to attend the Volvo Golf Champions Tournament, Riffa Views will also have a reduced number of fully furnished villas available to rent during the days of the event. The selected villas are walking distance from the golf course and include tickets to the tournament.

Riffa Views signs new agreement for villa delivery in Lagoons Estate

Riffa Views announced today that it has signed a revised agreement with contractor G. P. Zachariades (GPZ) relating to the completion and delivery of villas within the Lagoons Estate. The revised agreement with GPZ follows the recent commitment of contractor PCC-Terna to a villa delivery programme in the Oasis Estate.

The Lagoons Estate within Riffa Views comprises 323 villas, and although handover has begun, it has suffered delays, as a result of materials shortages and the pressure of the global economic crisis. The new agreement outlines the schedule of delivery for the remaining villas with a completion expectation set for the end of 2010. Under the terms of the new agreement the number of villas completed and handed over from GPZ to Riffa Views will progressively increase over the following months until completion.

Ihab Khalil, Riffa Views Development Director, commented: “The positive resolution achieved with GPZ will give us detailed information on villa completion and delivery that we will be able to communicate to the homeowners. We trust this will help to alleviate the distress the delays have caused to them and we will work hard to ensure that the process up until handover is as smooth and efficient as we can make it.”

In addition to the focus on villa completion and handover at Riffa Views, landscaping works are steadily progressing at the same time. The entrance of the Lagoons and Oasis Estates are now both fully landscaped, as is the Royal Golf Club. The infrastructure is 90 per cent complete and 99 per cent of the preliminary road network is built, facilitating the access for residents to their villas and from one area to another within the development.
