Riffa Views reaches agreement to boost villa delivery in Oasis Estate

Riffa Views has announced the signing of a revised agreement with contractor PCC-Terna relating to the completion and delivery of villas within the Oasis section of the Riffa Views development. Villa delivery at Riffa Views has been adversely affected by materials shortages and the global economic slowdown, but under the terms of the new agreement, PCC-Terna has committed to a villa delivery programme that will complete the handover of Oasis villas to homeowners by mid-2010.
PCC-Terna was appointed by Riffa Views at the outset of the project for the construction of 350 villas in the Oasis Estate. To date, 82 villas have been handed over to Riffa Views and the new agreement outlines the schedule of delivery for the remaining villas, which will be handed over to Riffa Views at an average rate of 27 villas per month.

Yasser Al-Raee, Managing Director Riffa Views, commented: “Regrettably, a number of factors have contributed to delays in the delivery of villas, leading to understandable frustration amongst our homeowners, and we are taking all possible steps to alleviate the effect of the challenges we have been facing in the project. This agreement is a very positive outcome for all parties. PCC-Terna is reaffirming its full commitment to Riffa Views and to a fixed programme of delivery for completed homes, at the very high levels of quality set at the outset of this project.”
Dimitrios Rammos, PCC-Terna, Technical Director added: “The agreement provides complete assurance to homeowners that all of our resources and efforts are aligned towards the ultimate goal of completing and delivering all the Oasis villas by mid-2010.”
Construction in Riffa Views continues to progress and 85 per cent of the infrastructure now complete. To date, 210 villas from all three Signature Estates have been handed over by contractors to Riffa Views, and of these, 99 have either been delivered to homeowners or are ready for occupation. The remaining 111 villas are currently undergoing commissioning and testing in readiness for handover.

أعلنت الرفاع ڤيوز عن توقيع اتفاقية معدلة مع شركة بي سي سي تيرنا و ذلك لاستكمال وتسليم الفلل داخل ضيعة الواحات في مشروع الرفاع ڤيوز. حيث إن تسليم بعض الفلل قد تأثر سلبا في مشروع الرفاع ڤيوز و ذلك بسبب نقص الموارد والتباطؤ الاقتصادي العالمي ، ولكن بموجب شروط الاتفاقية الجديدة ، التزمت شركة بي سي سي بتسليم الفلل من خلال البرامج الذي من شأنه استكمال عملية تسليم فلل ضيعة الواحات و تسليمها لأصحابها بحلول منتصف عام 2010.
و في البداية، تم تعيين شركة بي سي سي تيرنا من قبل الرفاع ڤيوز لبناء 350 فيلا في ضيعة الواحات. حتى الآن ، و تم تسليم 82 فيلا إلى الرفاع ڤيوز والاتفاق الجديد ضم الخطوط العريضة للجدول الزمني لتسليم الفلل المتبقية ، والتي سيتم تسليمها إلى الرفاع ڤيوز بمعدل متوسط 27 فيلا في الشهر.

و أضاف ديمتريوس راموس المدير الفني لشركة بي سي سي تيرنا قائلا : “إن هذه الاتفاقية ستوفر ضمانات كاملة لأصحاب المنازل حيث أن كافة مواردنا وجهودنا ستتماشى نحو الهدف النهائي المتمثل في استكمال وتسليم جميع الفلل في ضيعة الواحات بحلول منتصف عام 2010.”
و يواصل البناء في الرفاع ڤيوز التقدم حيث انه تم إكمال 85 في المائة من البنية التحتية حتى الآن. و تم أيضا تسليم 210 منزلا في كل من الثلاث ضيعات و التي تم تسليمها من قبل المقاولين في الرفاع ڤيوز ، من هذه المنازل هناك 99 وحدة إما أن تكون قد سلمت لأصحاب المنازل أو سيقام تسليمها قريبا. أما المتبقي من المنازل و هم 111 فانه حاليا تجري الاستعدادات لتسليمها.

Riffa Views: Ready to commence the main villa handover phase

Riffa Views hosted a special visit for members of the local media to showcase the progress and milestones achieved at the luxury residential development. The media delegation was welcomed by Riffa Views’ CEO, Alfredo Laffitte, along with members of the Riffa Views’ team.
The media guests viewed the site where 138 villas, in the Lagoons, Oasis and Park Estates, are now complete and will soon be handed over to homeowners as the main villa handover phase commences. To ensure an efficient handover process and to guarantee the sustainability of the community that will soon be residing in Riffa Views, key elements of the development’s infrastructure are now complete and operational.
Construction work at Riffa Views’ continues to make progress with 75 per cent of the development’s infrastructure completed, including 90 percent of the road network which comprises 18 km of roads. Following the recent switch on of the permanent power supply to the world-class golf facilities, supply of potable water to the entire development will also be secured before the main villa handover phase takes place.
Alfredo Laffitte, CEO of Riffa Views commented: “The local media have greatly assisted in the overall success of Riffa Views. They have seen the development evolve since its inception and we are proud to share with them the milestones that have been achieved to date. We are now about to commence the most important stage of the project as we have in our possession a substantial amount of villas ready to be handed over to the homeowners and the development will soon be lived in and come to life.”
The media guests also enjoyed a private tour of the Royal Golf Club’s 9-hole, par 3 academy golf course, “The Wee Monty”. This short course is a scaled down version of the Riffa Views’ Championship golf course, both courses have been designed by international golfing legend, Colin Montgomerie. The delegation also visited Riffa Views’ world-class golf facilities and toured the Clubhouse which features a lounge for exclusive use by members of the golf club, a large brasserie style restaurant, Links, and Repartee, the acclaimed signature restaurant that will offer a formal dining experience to visitors.
The Clubhouse and Country Club facilities will be officially handed over from Riffa Views to the Royal Golf Club at the end of September and soon after these state-of-the-art facilities will be open to welcome homeowners, members of the golf club and the general public.

وقد تفقد الضيوف من ممثلي وسائل الإعلام الموقع الذي يضم 138 فيلا ضمن مجمعات البحيرات، الواحة والمنتزه، وقد أصبحت هذه الفيلات كاملة الآن وسوفي تسلم قريبا إلي أصحابها حينما تبدأ مرحلة تسليم الفيلات الرئيسية في المشروع. ولضمان كفاءة عملية التسليم ولضمان استدامة المجتمع العمراني في هذا المجمع والسكان الذين سيقيمون في الرفاع فيوز فقد أصبحت عناصر رئيسية في البنية التحتية للمشروع كاملة وتعمل الآن بالكامل.
ومازالت الأعمال الإنشائية في الرفاع فيوز مستمرة في إحراز التقدم المنشود فيما تم استكمال نحو 75 بالمائة من البنية التحتية للمشروع بما فيها 90 بالمائة من شبكة الطرق التي تضم 18 كيلومترا من الطرق. في أعقاب بدء تشغيل توصيلات الكهرباء المستديمة لمنشآت الجولف العالمية المستوى فسوف يتم توصيل مياه الشرب للمجمع بالكامل قبل بدء مرحلة تسليم الفيلات الرئيسية.

بالإضافة إلي ذلك فقد تمتع الضيوف من ممثلي وسائل الإعلام أيضا بجولة في النادي الملكي للجولف المكون من 9 حفر وتفقد ملعب الجولف التابع للأكاديمية المعروف باسم “ذي وي مونتي”. وهذا الملعب القصير للجولف هو عبارة عن نموذج مصغر لملعب الجولف الكبير الذي تقام عليه البطولات والتابع للرفاع فيوز، وقد تم تصميم كلا الملعبين من قبل اللاعب الأسطوري في رياضة الجولف كولين مونتغمري. هذا وزار الوفد أيضا منشآت الجولف العالمية المستوى التابعة للرفاع فيوز وقاموا بجولة تفقدية لمبنى النادي الذين يضم استراحة خاصة يقتصر استعمالها على أعضاء نادي الجولف، ومطعم كبير بطابع “البراسيري” يعرف باسم مطعم لينكس، ومطعم ريبارتي، وهو المطعم الفاخر الذي يلقي الإشادة من قبل رواده والذي يقدم وجبات العشاء الرسمي لزبائنه.
هذا وسوف يتم تسليم مبنى النادي ومنشآت كانتري كلوب رسميا من الرفاع فيوز إلي النادي الملكي للجولف في نهاية شهر سبتمبر وسوف تفتتح هذه المنشآت الفاخرة قريبا للترحيب بأصحاب البيوت والفيلات في المشروع وأعضاء نادي الجولف وأفراد الجمهور.
