Landscaping at Riffa Views
Riffa Views celebrated the culmination of the Eden Challenge environmental competition with a ceremony attended by the schools that participated along the two years the initiative was held. The event also marked the milestone of the start of landscaping at Riffa Views with over 150 children plating trees in the Eden Challenge Garden located in the Oasis Estate.
We are proud to be able to transfer the essence of the Eden Challenge into the community of Riffa Views as the greenery, the gardens, the landscaping and environmental awareness have all been integrated into life within the community.
FACTS:
The level of landscaping in Riffa Views is unmatched in the country as 70 per cent of the development is to be landscaped with green areas.
The trees and shrubs to be planted in all the public landscaping including parks, walkways, as well as the soft and hard landscaping areas, have been carefully selected to thrive in Bahrain’s climate conditions. Some of these plants and shrubs have been sourced from as far afield as Thailand, Malaysa, Australia, South Africa, Dubai and Egypt and extensive reviews to ensure the survival of these plants under local conditions are continuously being carried out.
