Riffa Views backed Bahrain Rugby Club – Achievements Celebrated

A glittery event was held June 5th 2008 to celebrate the End of Season for the Riffa Views backed Bahrain Rugby Club.
The Gala ball, also sponsored by Riffa Views, was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel and attracted over 250 guests.
The event honored the many accolade’s of the team including an award for the first team player of the year given to Daniel Bell, Most Improved Player of the year award given to John Greali and the first team forward of the year given to Kelly Craig.
“At Riffa Views, one of our main goal is to promote Bahrain on various fronts. Sports is just one of the many causes we sponsor. We are proud of Bahrain’s Rubgy team and of the success achieved by the team members,” said Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Views.
Along the achievements of the Riffa Views backed team is clenching the title of Bahrain 10’s tournament and the Khanjar 7’s tournament in UAE. The team also came second place in the Shielf Competition and were semi-finalist at the Sharia 10’s championship in UAE.
The new seasons will kick off with the Gulf Pool Game versus Dubai Dragons on September 12, 2008. The league game will be next on the calendar held in Qatar. The team will also take part in the annual 10’s tournament in Bahrain between October 8 and 9.
