Riffa Views brand goes global
17 June 2008
Riffa Views has yet again taken its brand to the global stage by supporting Bahraini travel enthusiast Ali Mushaima on his Friendship Arabia Bahrain to Britain Tour 2008.
The Riffa Views brand is in a prominent position on the LR3 4X4 Land Rover that Mushaima will drive through 12 countries; Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria, Turkey, Greece, Macedonia, Italy, Switzerland, France, Ireland, Scotland, and Britain where he will celebrate the end of his journey.
When the Bahrain-based team reached the third leg of their tour, they were quite surprised to bump into the CEO of one of the expedition’s major sponsors.
Richard Browning, Chief Executive Officer of Riffa Views, was viewing the final preparations to the handover procedure of the new Colin Montgomerie Course at the Papillon Golf Club in Belek which is due to open on September 1st.
Commenting on the co-incidental meeting, Ali Mushaimea said “We were pleased and excited to meet up with Mr. Browning who was kind enough to make time to meet the expedition team. He also spoke about the importance of this trip to promote Bahrain which was very encouraging.”
Mushaima founded Arab World Tours in 1994, both to promote the region through the publication of travel books as well to bridge the “knowledge gap” between the Middle East and countries beyond. The Friendship Tour, which aims to spread messages of friendship across regions of the world, is his second such tour following the successful Dilmun to Dublin Tour in 2004.
Richard Browning commented: “We have a strong belief that a well-established and stable brand – not only locally, but regionally and internationally, is an essential factor of the success in any project. Moreover, Riffa Views has always been supportive to activities and events that indicate noble objectives towards Bahrain. This voyage will spread a global awareness about Bahrain’s history, culture and rich heritage.”
