Riffa Views Eden Challenge gains momentum as remaining category is judged

Riffa Views announced today that Al Khamis Primary Boys School was selected as the winner of the Riffa Views Eden Challenge’s Category A ‘Junior Primary age group between 6 to 9 years old’. The entry consisting of a pot, entirely crafted from recycled materials, will be displayed at the Riffa Views Eden Challenge Exhibits stand, along with five other winning creations previously selected, during the Riffa Views Bahrain International Garden Show 2008 (RVBIGS).
Today’s winner will go forward to the final round where the overall winner of the Challenge will be selected. Celebrity gardener Chris Beardshaw, who arrives in Bahrain today to participate in RVBIGS 08 and associated activities in his capacity as the Riffa Views Ambassador, Gardens and Landscape, will judge the exhibits displayed on the stand in conjunction with Shakiha Maram bint Isa bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, Director of BIGS. The overall competition winner will be awarded a prize of BD3,000.
