Riffa Views begins Construction on the Lagoons Estate

Riffa Views Signature Estates today held a ground breaking ceremony to announce the beginning of construction on the second of its Signature Estates, The Lagoons. The contract was awarded to GPZ-Sembawang, a joint venture between local contractor GPZ and Singaporean engineering and construction giant Sembawang. The Lagoons Estate will comprise 258 two and three bedroom town-houses along with four and five bedroom luxury villas, which will be completed by mid-2009.
Construction on the first of Riffa Views Estates, The Oasis, began in March 2007, and with The Lagoons now under construction, more than two thirds of the residences within Bahrain’s premier residential golf development are under way for completion.
Mr. Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Views Signature Estates, broke ground of The Lagoons Estate, and commented: “Today’s milestone represents a great achievement in the overall progress of Riffa Views. Riffa Views is showcasing The Lagoons and The Oasis Signature Estates on their stand at this year’s Property Arabia, which is one of the most extensive at the 2007’s exhibition. Riffa Views CEO selected to speak at the International Golf Business Forum in Budapest

Mr. Richard Browning, CEO of Riffa Views Signature Estates, has been invited to speak at the Golf Business Forum 2007 in Budapest this week from May, 16th-18th. Mr. Browning has been asked to present a paper on the subject:
This presentation will include a panel discussion on hot markets in terms of demand; having an overall development vision and the importance of master planning; the value of signature golf architects in real estate developments and golf communities/resorts; and how golf course design can help maximize the value of real estate. Mr. Browning’s invitation to speak at this prestigious event in the golf business calendar reaffirms Bahrain’s position as a global real estate player and prime tourism destination.
The annual forum is hosted by leading professional services provider KPMG’s Golf Advisory Services Practice, and offers a unique platform for experts from the world’s golf and related industries to share best practice and international industry insight.
